I've had this project in mind for over three years, waiting for the right moment to bring it to life in the best way possible.

That day has finally come.

The production of "SILLITAS.", a collectible Art Toy in Blind Box format, is almost finished. It's one of my favorite pieces I've made so far. I'll give you a little sneak peek and answer some questions below:

What is an "Art Toy"?

An Art Toy (or designer toy) is a collectible figure created by artists and designers. It combines the concept of a toy with contemporary sculpture. They're not meant to be played with, but rather displayed as works of art. Although, honestly, do whatever you want with yours.

What is a "Blind Box"?

A Blind Box (or surprise box) means that the collectible remains a surprise until you open it — you don't know which one you're going to get. This collection has five (5) different varieties, each with a different rarity.

Rarities?

Yes, rarities. There are 200 collectible SILLITAS in this release.

The rarities are:

White — 50% chance of getting it. Only you and 99 other people will own this SILLITA.

Ugly Red — 25% chance of getting it. Only you and 49 other people will own this SILLITA.

Black — 20% chance of getting it. Only you and 39 other people will own this SILLITA.

Glass — 4.5% chance of getting it. Only you and 8 other people will own this SILLITA.

Gold — 0.5% chance of getting it. You're the only one who owns this SILLITA.

Each collectible comes with its own box, instructions, certificate of authenticity + extras.

FAQs

What happens if I buy more than one and get duplicates, or if I want to trade my SILLITA?

I'll be creating a public broadcast space on my Instagram where you can trade your SILLITA or share it with the community. Part of this project is also about creating an opportunity for everyone to connect with each other — something I've always loved seeing at my events and exhibitions.

Where will I be able to get my SILLITA?

Through my website, I'll be shipping throughout Argentina, with an option for worldwide shipping as well.

I'm also looking into the possibility of having SILLITAS available at local stores in Buenos Aires, so you can have the full experience of purchasing one in person.

When is SILLITAS coming out?

I'm finishing production outside the country. I'm aiming for mid-to-late September (because I seriously can't wait any longer).

Am I really UglyButAiLoviu?

Yes.

With this piece, I want to raise the bar and above all, give you the best that I can.

This is one of my most ambitious projects in terms of production. I'll be sharing a behind-the-scenes look and more information about the process of bringing everything to life later on.
